This project is currently the 5th largest construction project in the state of Indiana. KDS is currently performing construction management services for this project which includes the construction of 26 miles of new tracks from Michigan City to Gary Indiana. The project includes new construction of 4 existing stations and a new station house for Miller. It also includes installation of new signal and traction power systems and the initiation of positive train control (PTC). (03/21-Present)
CTA Red, Purple Modernization Phase One, Chicago Transit Authority

This project is currently the largest construction project in the state of Illinois. KDS is currently performing construction management services for this project which includes the construction of new tracks from CTA’s Belmont Station to Howard Terminal. The project includes installing a rail bypass north of CTA’s Belmont station. It also includes installation of a new signal system on 23 track miles between Howard and Belmont. (01/20-Present)
